Tip 6... for your arts and crafts business!

Tip 6

LOOK INTERESTED!..tip 6

Show some interest in your own craft show.. there is nothing worse, than seeing the vendor hiding behind the table of crafts with a romance novel, or a big book in her face!

Potential customers are milling around, and although you do not want to pounce on them!.. you should show some interest!

Another thing... make sure you have a relief person for your lunch or break.. because Murphy's law has it, that the minute you think its safe to eat, a sudden rush of people will show up!.. and the last thing they want to see, is the vendor or artist with a big fat burger, stuffing her face!.. and I see this ALL THE TIME!.. I know we have to eat, but you have to work out some kind of relief time, with a friend, another booth, something!.. because eating and talking, as we were all taught is totally bad manners!.. you should be sitting somewhere without interuptions for your lunch, or all you are going to remember of your craft show is indigestions and bad breath!.. and that is how some of your potential customers will remember you too!
