Advertising Crafts ... this is something you will need to

consider when selling online with your own website or store...

Make sure to get your website printed on your business cards and flyers that you hand out at arts and crafts shows, and fairs etc..let everyone know you also sell online!

If you can't swing your own website right now, or just don't want to have to hire a web master, then considering selling on "arts and crafts" sites, such as Etsy.com. They will let you open a online store for a small listing fee, and are quite well known. Or you can sell on Ebay too.

Even if you sell at craft shows only, advertisiing crafts online is a great way to let everyone know you are "here".

Another great way to advertise your crafts is by word of mouth. This take a bit longer, but one way to speed it up, is to create some of your best work, and give it to your friends and let them wear or use them at work.

Their workmakes will take an interest right away, and if you arm your friends with your business cards, then you can get a list of customers. This is a great way, especially if any of your friends or relatives work in a large company or office exposed to lots of clients and co-workers.

These are just some avenues that I have taken and had good luck with!

Good luck with your arts and crafts business!
