Button Crafts... another idea for your arts and crafts business!

Button Crafts... this is another great addition to your craft shows..

You can get wooden unfinished buttons from many craft suppliers, local or online.. or you can even make your own. Button Crafts...are a great addition to a hand knitted sweater or clothing, to take shells, or stones, or pieces of wood and as long as you can attach either a shank to the back or drill at least 2 holes thru your object, it can be used as a button!.

Another great idea is to use the unfinished wooden ones and paint tiny scenes or flowers on them, as long as you put on a good few coats of a tough varathane, then it will be protected from washing and drying. Most people with handmade items and unique buttons, do not usually throw the item thru the washer and the dryer.

Take a look in the above Amazon search box, and see if you can find any craft books, books on buttons, or any other craft... they are always getting lots of product.. its worth doing a search.

At craft shows, I would do sets of 4 buttons, and sew them to the back of my business card and put them in a sealable plastic sleeve (tiny bag) and have them in a basket to look thru.. they did quite well. Great to make any craft original and unique..
