Clean out your studio or workspace on a regular basis!

Today I have to get ruthless with my workspace!.. its "clean out your studio".. day!

You know what I mean.. all those tubs and boxes holding crafts that you made way too many of.. thought they would be the greatest little money maker, but NOT!.. so you packed them away in a box or tub, and you keep trying at shows, and they just don't go.. so the tubs get burried deeper into corners, with other tubs ontop, then after awhile, you forget they are there, until you no longer can enter your studio!

You are now tripping over the boxes of supplies, that Aunt Bert thought "you could use!".. or the boxes of fabric that your neighbour was pitching, and you just couldn't help yourself!.. a deal is a deal right?..

Well I have a very hard time turning down a "good deal", but it can get out of control, and today I marked it on my calendar.. as "clean out your studio" day!.. Its very hard, but you have to clear it out, and that way you have more room to see where you are.. and of course fill it back up again!.. If you haven't sold it at a whole years worth of shows, then its time for it all to go, either as gifts or donations, or recycling.. but it has to be done!.. Put on a pot of coffee, put on your old jeans, and roll up your sleeves, and GET IN THERE and clean out your studio!
