Clean your Space... especially at crafters malls and market places!

Clean your space!...

If you rent a spot at a crafters mall or crafters marketplace, or something along those lines... then its up to you to keep tabs on it!

Some of these stores will offer to clean your space for a fee, or as part of your rent, but it gets busy in there, especially on the weekends, and they just don't have the time..

If you sell in one of these spots, or maybe you are in a few around town, you need to make a schedule of cleaning and re-stocking days.

To give you an example... I went to a crafters marketplace on the weekend, and there was a space for folk art... it was very well done, but you could tell, this vendor or crafter had not made a visit in a long time. The shelves were dusty, and so was some of his product. The minute customers think your product has been there for years, they are not going to buy it!

Take a cloth with you, and go over everything, with all the activity in these stores, the dust does get kicked up, make sure your product display changes around, and take the time and interest to do it..

Do not just throw it in the spot and off you go... keep it clean!.. sometimes you will also end up with products that are not even yours!.. People will walk around with some purchases, see something else, and rather than try and figure out where they got it from, they just shove it on a shelf!

So, you need to keep check on your space, you rented it, now use it to its best!.. Products will not always just sell themselves, and most people will not get on their hands and knees and rummage, so keep it clean, neat and tidy!..clean your space!
