Clock Craft... as they say... time is precious!Clock Craft... is a nice unique craft. Time is precious, and we are always checking the time, so why not make it creative and beautiful! There are many types of clock, you can buy them ready to decorate, such as the wooden ones, you can buy the parts and make your own clock.. you can decorate them with folk art, modern art, decoupage, the ideas are endless.. each time piece will be an original! I have found a great ebook with downloadable plans for making clocks, they also sell a hard copy if you would prefer it that way, but click on the link, I think you will find it interesting! You can make some beautiful clocks, especially if wood working is your passion!... The trick to a profitable craft business, is to make sure you create something you are passionate about.. don't just mass produce things you have seen at craft shows, and hope to sell... you will quickly become bored, and will not give off the excitement that a vendor would, who is passionate about his/her work.. and not make the money.. you will not likely be in it for the long haul either, and will quickly give up.. If you create something that you love and are passionate about, you will come up with all kinds of ways to make it more original each year, and will be able to change with the times, and economy... It should be something you love to create whether you sell it for money or not.. You know who you are!.. the ones with crafts and creations all over their house!.. find your passion and have fun! |
