Collect free supplies.... while on your craft show holidays

This is where you need a big car or van!.. collect free supplies... unique and individual supplies.!

When ever my family goes north to the beaches etc, I will always be thinking of my next projects... Since I love to paint, I am always looking for something else to paint on.. you could also be thinking of other craft ideas.

I will collect pieces of driftwood, things washed up on shore, (make sure you wash them down, so as not to stink up your car!), shells, soft smooth stones, whatever catches your eye.

In the fall you can collect large falling leaves and press them in a book until you get home and paint a scene on the leaf?.. This looks amazing against a black background and framed.

Pine cones on forest trails, pine needles, if crafts are your passion, I am sure you will be thinking of great ideas, sometimes you just need to be in different areas, and your imagination gets sparked! Collect free supplies!

That saying: "A change is as good as a rest".. is true, especially to a artist, whatever your medium, writers have been known to get rid of "writers block" when on holiday, and crafters come up with great ideas!

Go ahead and collect some free supplies... get some great ideas from nature.
