Other creative ways to sell your crafts!

There are many ways to get creative selling crafts or your creations!

Another good way that a friend of mine does every year, is to hold a HOME CRAFT SALE.. She lives in the city, and has got to know quite a few people over the years and decided to let everyone know she was now in business by holding a OPEN HOUSE CRAFT SALE.

She would put an ad in the local papers, in grocery stores, craft stores, and craft supply stores, that she was having an open house and that everyone was welcome and to bring a friend!

She also put out a sign at the end of her street on the day of the show..as well as balloons and signs on her house.

This type of show takes a lot of work, and the co-operation of your family, as its best on a weekend.. but the payoff can be fantastic!..

Put away your family heirlooms, take all pictures off the wall that are not for sale, and clean, and organize your crafts, artwork, or samples neatly and priced, and setup cookies and coffee/tea in the kitchen, and have a small table for the money part of this operation!.. Make sure to have your business cards ready for orders, and for those people who have to go home and think about it!

Why not set this up with some other crafter friends?... It would make a varied show, with lots of different crafts, and you would not have to fill your house with your crafts... take turns at each others house.. a good time for a show like this is early November, after the halloween holiday is over and people turn their thoughts to Christmas..

Take a look at some of my other pages below for more great ideas, some might just spark the crafter in you!
