Delegate chores... in order to run your arts and crafts business!

Delegate chores!... in order for your arts and crafts business to run smoothly!

You can not wear all the hats when running your arts and crafts business... or any business!... It is especially difficult if you run your business from home.. people just expect you to be around for everything including your family!

Now, I know one of the main reasons you may have started your business was to run it from home... but you still need to delegate chores in order for things to run smoothly!

Make a chore list, sit down with household memebers or your family, and delegate chores.. younger kids can empty dishwashers, or clean their room, and older kids can do household chores or start laundry, these are things everyone would have to do if you were out of the house for your job.. it should be no different just because you work at home, and you don't need the distraction..!

Its very easy to stop at the washing machine or kitchen on your way to your space or studio, and think... "I will just throw on a load of laundry or do these dishes before I get started".. next thing you know its lunch!

If you delegate chores, then you can just walk by them knowing they will get done at some point in the day by another memeber of the family.. take your business seriously, you need your time and effort to create, and the support of the household..
