Finish Afghans or Crochet projects for a fee!

Finish afghans, or crochet projects for a fee!

If you are passionate about crochet, great at it, feel confident with any crochet pattern.. then this might be a great "niche" business for you!

I know a lot of people who LOVE afghans, and get all excited to start a afghan, and once they have crocheted 10 squares.. get tired of it and it gets tossed aside!

Finish afghans for people could be a great business, especially if on top of other marketing plans for your business, such as commission work.. it could be a great way to fill the time at craft shows.. be working on crochet, or finish afghans, or whatever you like to crochet!..

I have a friend, who crochets ALL THE TIME, I don't think I have ever seen her without a crochet hook in her hand, her house is filled to the top with afghans, pillows etc.. so she also crochets for others, and now does it for a fee, and also puts many of her afghans in craft shows, as well as getting fees from finishing projects for others.

Start asking around your friends and family first, and ask them how many have that bag in a closet filled with wool, pattern, a few started grannie squares, and then that was it, once they realized they had to crochet 100 more!!!.. after family and friends, then try advertising this business.. you might be surprised!.. just like with the knitting, sewing or mending service.. people are BUSY, so try to form your service business around them and you will have found your niche.. or at least added a different way to make money with your crafts business!
