Front Door Art... spruce up your curb appeal!

Front door art.... this is a wonderful project for that tired front or back door..

If you have a tired looking front door, and can't buy a new one just yet, then decorate it!

You can either sand off the rough bits, (if it was already a painted door) or give it a really good clean.. pick a nice day, not too hot not too cold.. paint needs to be in at least 50 degree Farenheit to cure properly.. and try painting a scenery, or block it off into different colours, get creative!.. give it some punch.. or another great idea, is to create a banner that can hang on your front door, this works best if your front door is under a porch roof..

If you front door does not get too much adverse weather then you can paint a banner, made from canvas, and paint it like a welcome sign with some flowers, or your name or whatever you feel.. it will take your eye away from the "not so good door".. put a really nice welcome mat on the floor and a planter beside the door and you are all set!..front door art!

Canvas banners work well, but can not take a lot of weather or rain, but just in case they are likely to get a bit damp, make sure to coat with a good couple of layers of OUTDOOR varathane..you can either purchase canvas loose and cut and sew it into a banner shape, or frame it like a canvas painting and hang it on your front door using those hooks you can get for front door wreaths... get creative!
