Garage Sales for Craft Supplies

Garage Sales to find Craft supplies is a great weekend outing!

If you enjoy garage sales, then you will enjoy looking for "treasure".. The best thing you can do at this point, is to create a general list of craft supplies you are looking for..

You don't want to be filling your garage with impulse purchases that you didn't really need!.. Map out your quest.. and wear old clothes and comfortable shoes and then go "digging for treasure".. In my experience I have found that sales that carry a lot of boxes of books and such, tend to also have lots of craft books, patterns, and abandoned craft projects filled with great craft supplies!

If you hit the jackpot, don't get too excited until you check it out and make sure you are not bringing home dried up paints and moldy wool!!.. take a quick look, and if you show up late morning, you will usually get a great deal, or told to just "take it".. as the owners have had enough, and don't want to drag these things back into the house! Make sure to bring lots of small bills, so you can make an offer and not have to ask for change!..HAPPY DIGGING!
