Garden Crafts.... lots of great ideas!!

Garden Crafts.... once the weather is nice, there are TONS of ideas for crafts in the garden.!

Creations in the garden are especially great, for sparse gardens, or a new home and garden that is just getting started... its an affordable way to fill in gaps, and make your garden your own!

It will reflect your creative personality, and is GREAT advertising if you put lots of garden crafts in your own garden or yard..

On the below pages, you will find some ideas to get you started.. and these are crafts that I found to sell well at craft shows, fairs etc.. I found them to sell more in person, rather than online, because of there size.. but it does happen. I once mailed a large planter pot!.. but garden crafts are great for shows, as they fill in gaps and make you look like you have a lot to sell!.. The larger pieces will attract people to your booth, table, or your open house or your garden party Make sure they are cheerful, bright and that you protect them well with varathanes etc..

There are many many products out there.. especially in the paint department for painting outside crafts. There are paints for plastic, metal, wood and more. Personally when I am painting a surface other than wood, I like to use a primer that sticks like glue! .. I usually use Zinsser primer when I use this primer, I don't have to have different sets of paints.. I can then use my usual decorative paints, and then I coat the crafts with a good OUTSIDE varathane, that is water based, so as not to yellow the paints.. It will last a good long time, and if people were to bring in some of the garden crafts in the winter, they would last even longer..

have fun .. and get creative in the garden.. check out the below pages for some ideas.. I am always adding more.. so keep me in mind!
