Crafters... take care of your mind, body and soul... take care of your Health!

Take care of your health!

If you are anything like me, crafting has me sitting in one spot... I like to paint, so I tend to get myself totally deep in thought with my painting, and time whips by, then I try to stand up or straighten up, and I can't move!

In order for the creativity to flow, you have to take care of your heart, mind, body and soul!... take a break, even if you are flooded with orders, take a walk outside, get out in the daylight, and have a brisk walk, take the dog.. something!.. a good walk will clear the cobwebs, help you think clearly, and will help you get creative with that next project... good health is everything!

So, unless your craft involves a lot of running or stretching!... you will have to make sure and get the exercise, and the proper meals... when you work in your own business, its easy to get lost in it, and just grab something here or there.. but you have to remember there is a clear connection between how the body is feeling and how you think!

That goes for lots of water as well... if you are well hydrated, well fed (and I don't mean junk food!) and exercised, you will feel refreshed and full of ideas!

These are some of the same recommendations that are given to writers who get writers block.. well crafters can get "crafters block".. when you just can't think of what to do next, or create.. so get out for a walk, and the ideas will pour in!
