House Portrait painting for your unique crafts business!!

If your passion is painting, and you are expert with detail, why not try doing a house portrait?

People are very proud of their homes, and what better way to show it off, then to have a house portrait painted or drawn?.. If you have a decent camera, you could take a few pictures on a really nice day, just after they have done all their yard work.. and then take it back to your studio and paint.. unless you are the type that likes to set your easle up right there.. thats cool too!.. Personally I love to paint, and I usually take pictures then take my time back at home..

If you are brave, you could go up to the owner of a really unique and interesting house, and offer to paint a house portrait for him/her.. state your price, size of the painting or drawing will be, and framed or unframed!..

You could also approach a landscape company and offer your services to them.. If you have a great imagination and can picture a great landscape project around a great house.. then you could paint or draw and picture for the potential customer of the landscape business.. once they see how great their house and property could look, they may become a customer for the landscape company!...

You have to get creative here.. especially if you live in or near an area of very interesting houses or businesses!..

You would have to pay great attention to detail, but this could become quite lucritive.. just an idea!

I once painted a cottage portrait on a large saw blade for a customer... now that... was different!.. trying to secure it while painting on it was fun too!... so, as you can see, you don't have to offer your protrait on canvas either, it can be on wood, or an artifact from the house itself.. get the imagination going!
