Interior Decorating... hook up with a decorator for your craft business

Interior Decorating, is a big .. actually HUGE business these days, as everyone tries to make their cave into a castle!

If you are that way inclined, then you should take a couple of courses and get going!

If you are more into sewing, painting, crafts etc.. and you like the idea of transforming someones cave into a castle.. then why not hook up with an interior decorator?

If you can take direction, and read patterns, and come up with throw pillows, paint walls, paint trim.. or even upolster couches.. then you could have a great business with interior decorating!.. Find your strengths, and promote them.. If painting is your thing, then promote that to a decorator .. or if sewing, and creating great spaces, or "window dressing".. is your passion, then promote that.. you know you can do it!

Interior decorators are always on the look out for someone to make their ideas a reality.. My sister is an electrician, and she gets calls all the time from decorators, who are changing lighting needs for customers, and fresh lighting ideas.. this particular decorator has a whole list of people she hires based on their talents!

If you are really good at wall dressing, that is another great niche which is taking off. This is where you create walls of art, of family photos.. almost like scrapbooking on walls!

At least think about the idea.. if you hook up with the right one, and you feel you see things the same way, then it will work, so have a "interview" first, see if you and the decorator are on the same wave length.. bring pictures of your creations, so he/she has an idea of where you are coming from... and go from there.. you will know whether this person sees things the way you do!..get interior decorating
