Setting up your Jewelry Display at shows!
You can make the most beautiful pieces.. but if your idea of jewelry display is laying them all flat on a table, as if selling them on the street corner.. saying "have I got a deal for you"!.. then it just doesn't sell. In the craft world, as in most retail businesses, display can make the difference between a sale or a "walk by".. People like to be enticed, make them feel important, display your jewelry in a way that will make it stand out, and the potential customer can't imagine NOT having it!.. If you make beautiful pieces, then why not display them properly?.. It can be expensive to set up for jewelry display, and other small items, but if you do a few shows, it will be well worth it. Remember at craft shows, you only have a few seconds to attract a customer, as shows are busy and loud.. so display them properly and you will look professional. That being said, it doesn't hurt to try and get the best deals you can on display cases and such...
