Leaves.... these are great for craft projects

Leaves... these are a present from nature in the fall. Do not take them during the growing season, I am talking about when they are falling in the autumn.

Find some of the biggest leaves you can, in the best shape you can find, in whatever colors that they fall in!

Press them inbetween pages of heavy books, and then start planning your projects.

You can paint on them with acryclic paints, you can glue on bits of fabric, or anything lightweight, and you can then mount your leaf onto a background card and then into a frame or shadow box if its 3D in nature. This looks fantastic, and every leaf with be unique.

A great gift from nature.. you could also take smaller ones and arrange them in a frame as a piece of art.. there are so many ideas for craft projects.. get them before they are sent to the compost heap!.. and make some cash from them!
