Research is an important step in any business..

Lots of people skip this step because they want to get started right away and get impatient!

Research, can save you lots of time and trouble if you do it in the beginning... its worth the time, and just consider it an important step in becoming a successful arts or crafts business.

The internet, of course is a great tool for this.. If you have come up with a craft idea, then try searching it out on the internet, see who is selling something simular, and the price... if there are a lot of people making this craft, then could you make it a bit differently?..remember, DO NOT COPY!

Sometimes just searching on the web, can give you a great idea, WRITE IT DOWN!!.. draw it, scribble out it, something!.. its amazing how your brain, can look at one thing, and then suddenly come up with a totally different idea!.. I don't know how this works, but it does!..

Hopefully you will get an AHHAA.. moment, that will get you started with ideas!.. just remember... DON'T SKIP THIS STEP!.. research is everything!
