Selling your arts and crafts in Restaurants

Another good way to get known and also make some money, is to display your work in restaurants..

Aproach the owner of the restaurant.. preferrably one that you visit often.. let him know how much you like his establishment.. and ask if you can display your work on his walls..

This way of selling works great for paintings, and wall hangings, but can also work for crafts that need shelves to display them, or at the front, if there is a glass display case..

You could offer to install some wall shelves for your work.. pick your BEST pieces and make sure your name is clearly seen on your artwork and the price. Make sure to use a really nice card and price tag.. rather than some big sticker on the frame!.. offer the owner a percentage of each sale.. or he will let you know what he would like to see!

Make sure to leave some decent flyers and your business cards with him..

The owner may ask .. that he/her be the ONLY restaurant in your area to display your work, which you will have to agree or disagree to.. that would be up to you.. He/her may have enough wall space to show a lot of your pieces and that may be enough for you, especially if you have other ways of selling your work..

Make sure your flyer states any upcoming arts/crafts shows you have to let people know they can see more of your work!. This is a great way to get your work known!
