Robert Bateman art... a great artist.. and an example of great marketing!

Robert Bateman Art... probably everyone has heard of Robert Bateman, he is a wildlife artist, that lives here in Canada on the west coast... He has many prints and books out there in the marketplace, and I have organized and created this "Robert Bateman store" with Robert Bateman art and books,for you to browse thru or purchase

Robert Bateman is a great artist, don't get me wrong.. but he is also a perfect example of marketing!

The reason I mention this, is that before he was famous, he was my grade 11 art teacher back in highschool in the 70's in Burlington, Ontario, Canada (I am not going to give away my age completely! but they just renamed the highschool to be Robert Bateman High School).. at the time we discussed many things in class, art, world politics, whatever was on our young minds at the time.. but I also remember him, saying that in order to succeed in this world, you needed to market yourself! that people have to be encouraged to see you!

I am not saying that we can become as famous as he is, but he was right about marketing.. if you can afford a marketing budget, and you feel you have some great art, or creations, then you can hire a "sales rep" and see how it goes!.. All the guru's out there, had a great product and some great marketing, such as Debbie Travis, Martha Stewart, Donna Dewberry, and of course the paintings and works of Robert Bateman.. who was fortunate enough to travel the world and practice his art.
