Rug Hooking... kits or the old fashioned way with fabrics
Rug Hooking, is another older craft that is still in "style".
There are the latchhook rug kits, or there is the old fashioned way of using fabrics, either way are a great craft.
You can create a very unique rug by getting a canvas or burlap backing, and drawing a very simple picture on it, then choose fabrics, or wool depending on your medium and hook the picture.. this has a very nice effect.
If you prefer to make kits, those are nice too... either way, you can buy most of your supplies online, and I have found a selection of rug hooking supplies on Ebay. Just click on the link.
