Try to stay healthy... your creativity depends on it!
Try and stay healthy... sounds like something your mother would tell you... but its TRUE!
Craft shows especially... Try and bring your own food.. most craft shows allow you a ticket for a lunch, as there is usually food provided for customers and vendors... but there is a tendancy to serve fast food, like burgers, fries, pop.. and at the shows I have been at.. salads are not as common.
Now I am all for treats at shows.. you have worked hard, and deserve a treat.. but try and bring some of your own healthy snacks and meals, because you will just end up feeling fatigued and slow after a big lunch at a show, and you will look like you need a nap!
This is a great image?.. you half asleep at your booth?.. plus you need to be well fed and well hydrated (bring lots of water and don't drink much pop) stay healthy... it gets dry and you are constantly talking to vendors and customers.. and you are exposed to germs.. so do yourself and your body a favour and when you pack your car up for a craft show, also pack a cooler with meals and snacks and water.. and try to get away to eat your lunch.. schedule some relief time, have someone planned ahead of time to relieve you for your breaks.. and you will feel better for it!.. PROMISE!
So, if you are planning to do a lot of craft shows, then you need to find someone to help you, or that can relieve you for bathroom breaks and lunches, and simply to walk around and get some exercise.
Believe me, sitting on your butt, on a chair in your booth, is actually going to give you a sore back and you will not feel good. If you really want to stay healthy while doing the craft show circuit, you have to really think about and plan your food and breaks.
