Remember what vehicle you drive when making your crafts!!

This may sound like a stupid subject... but you would be amazed!.. I have been to enough craft shows, to see people with cartons tied on top of their cars, rickety old trailers being pulled behind!..danerous stuff!

When you decide that craft shows and fairs are the way for you to go, you maybe want to travel more, see sights, and fund all this travelling with your craft shows.. then just remember, YOU and the CRAFTS have to FIT in this vehicle!

Most indoor craft shows, provide you with a basic table and your spot, but there are many shows, such as outside ones, that DO NOT.. so you need to allow room for tents, tables, chairs, crafts, your luggage, snacks, and of course YOU!

You do NOT want to be pulled over heading down the interstate with stuff tied all over your car!.. try to be safe!

Think well ahead of the shows, and try to think of things to make that can fold easily, or take apart easily, that can fit into stackable tubs, or make sure you have a VAN or TRUCK with a cap.. or invest in a decent trailer. If you are doing shows full time, and you want to go on the road of the "craft show circuit".. then you must consider the costs of the vehicle, trailer, and hotels.. and then create create create lots and lots of products!.. with low supply costs.. and a high profit margin, as you will have way more expenses travelling, than you would going to the local church bazaar or school craft shows.. take this all into consideration.. and don't forget to allow for FUEL.. we all know that can get high!..
