Using Vintage fabrics is a great way to recycle older unique patterns into something new and useful!

Using older fabrics is very "chabby chic" right now, and very retro.. or it can look victorian, depending on your tastes.. Antique shops and flea markets are a great place to find fabrics, or take apart older vintage clothes that have seen their day and either use the fabric, or add to the garment to make it into something different.. there is an idea in its self.. There is a store a young girl opened in a town near me, where she took older second hand clothes and altered sleeves, added fabric, and made each piece into a work of art and an original piece.. as there would be no others like it.. and she does very well!...
